Department of Earth Sciences achieves another good performance in the Earth & Marine Sciences category of the 2015 QS World University Subject Rankings.

We are pleased to announce that the Department of Earth Sciences has achieved another good performance in the Earth & Marine sciences category of the QS World University Rankings. This year we have climbed eight places to a position of 26th on the QS World Subject Rankings Index. The QS World University Rankings by Subject are aimed at prospective students seeking to identify the World’s leading departments in their chosen field of study. This ranking underscores the excellent learning experiences of our students as well as the high-quality research we produce. We hope that the ranking will be useful to prospective students and look forward to welcoming them to our department in the near future.
