The Department of Earth Sciences is pleased to announce that our alumni Dr. Louis Wong (Earth Sciences BSc, class of 1999 and now an Assistant Professor at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore) was presented with the Richard Wolter’s Prize at the XII International Association of Engineering Geology and Environment (IAEG) Congress held between September 15th - 19th 2014 (http://www.iaeg.info/index.php/iaeg-info/awards-and-prizes/richard-wolters-prize). The Richard Wolter’s Prize recognises meritorious scientific achievements by a member of the engineering geology profession below the age of 40. Congratulations Dr. Wong!
