The Department of Earth Sciences is pleased to announce that Dr. Kuang Xingxing - a PhD graduate of the department - has been awarded an AXA Research Fund Postdoctoral Fellowship to investigate the impact of ice melting due to global warming in the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau, China.
Dr. Kuang will take up this position in the department and based on his “highly original [proposal] in [both] conception and ambition”, his work promises to deliver exciting results.
