The China Science Festival (www.chinasciencefestival.com) - part of the World Science Festival (www.worldsciencefestival.com) - is being held in Beijing between July 18th and August 3rd 2014. Our academic staff member Dr. Michael Pittman's research on Linhenykus monodactylus, a one-fingered dinosaur from Inner Mongolia, China (www.ucl.ac.uk/news/news-articles/1101/11012102), will be part of University College London's (UCL) presence at the festival which sees the UK as this year's 'country of honour'.  Speaking at the festival the British Ambassador said: 'This event is an important way for Great Britain to reach out to the next generation of Chinese scientists, to show them what our country has to offer, and to inspire and share our passion for science.''
