Professor Bor-ming

Professor Jahn is a geochemist and a geochronologist, with interest in geochemical, petrogenetic and tectonic problems; highly cited author, with publications >260; SCOPUS: total citations = 14505, h-index = 65 (224 SCI in statistics); Google Scholar citations = 16550, h-index = 68. He is elected Fellow of Geological Society of America (GSA), Mineralogical Society of America (MSA), Geochemical Society and European Association for Geochemistry. He was awarded Chevalier dans l’Ordre des Palmes Académiques (France) in 2008, Prix PRESTWICH (France) in 2013, International Prize of the Geological Society of Japan in 2014, “China-100” Distinguished Chinese Alumni Award, University of Minnesota, in 2014, 丁文江學術成就獎 (Ting’s Academic Achievement Award) of the Geological Society of China (Taiwan) in 2015. He is honorary professor or research fellow at many institutions - Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, Beijing, Institute of Geology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, Jilin University, Changchun, China, Institute of Geochemistry, CAS, Guangzhou, University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei, Northwest University, Xi’an, Nanjing University, Nanjing, Chinese University of Geosciences – Beijing, “Honorary Distinguished Professor”, Beijing SHRIMP Center, Honorary Research Professor(since 2009), The University of Hong Kong (2012 – 2014).
