Launched in 1997, the Cassini-Huygens spacecrafts arrived at Saturn in 2004, delivering the
Huygens probe to its Titan landing in 2005. The Cassini-Huygens mission has greatly
enhanced our understanding of the Saturnian system with unprecedented quantity and
quality of data about this crown jewel of our solar system. The Cassini spacecraft will continue
to orbit Saturn and collect valuable scientic data till 2017 when it will take a nal dive deep
into the atmosphere of Saturn.
In this talk I will give an overview of the mission and show highlights of its scientic
discoveries about the Saturnian system including ndings on the unique surface and
meteorology of Titan, the mysterious appearances of the smaller satellites, the magnicent
magnetosphere, and the brilliant rings.
