My research focuses on luminescence dating and its application in archaeology and geology. I explore the methodology of luminescence dating by extending the upper dating limit, improving accuracy, and developing new signals. I also investigate low-temperature thermochronology using thermoluminescence signals from calcite. I apply luminescence dating techniques to reconstruct paleolake level and paleoclimate changes during the late Quaternary on the Tibetan Plateau.
