Dr. Zhao, Dingyi

Postordoctoral Fellow

My research focuses on the Early Earth, especially the origin of Archean continental crust. I recently conduct analyses on Archean rocks from the North China Craton and East Pilbara Craton to study their geochemical characters (e.g., zircon water content and whole-rock potassium isotope) and constrain mafic source of TTG rocks, which can provide insights into differentiation of tectonic settings (plate tectonics or pre-plate tectonics).
